Not for you--for us. Specifically, for Evan. He received a free harmonica in the mail today and is now determined to learn how to play it. Any tips (from those who actually know) would be appreciated.
Kathryn is also interested in learning. After watching Evan for a few minutes, she took it right out of his hands and started "playing" a little herself. Of course, her version sounds more like her humming against the metal, rather than actually blowing air through it. Still, she's quite the musician. We're very proud.
After she gets a little more practice, maybe she'll put on a concert for all of you. Of course, there is one guest who must attend, above all others:

i'm already there and i won't even wear earplugs. Andy dabbled with the harmonica at one time.Maybe he can give some advice.
She'll be very happy to see you. She's now calling all the grandparents (including mine) Papa and Gra-ee.
well i guess humming is quieter at this point than real harmonica played by a baby...
and of course, just another thing to freak my dog out. :)
i also like how if you click on the photo and see a large picture, that my dog has one eye closed... like "if i close this eye, kathryn will disapper and my life will be sane again if only just for a moment..."
Now, now. Your dog loves Kathryn. Not quite as much as Kathryn loves your dog, but almost.
THAT'S your dog? Funny, I imagined it much smaller. And curlier. And more of a gray-tan mix. (I clearly did not listen at all when you told me what it looked like. I'm sure you're shocked.) And you let it sit on your couch? Ew.
Ahh, CK... No, that is not my dog. My dog is small (relatively) and tan. The dog pictured is Rachelle's. Whenever we visit, Kathryn spends the entire time running around chasing her, yelling "Puppy!!"
