Kathryn's favorite part of her new room was running through all the strips of torn down wallpaper. It looks nothing like this now.
Please note the hideous brown around the ceiling and chair rail. This color was all over the dining room and downstairs bathroom.
Our beautiful fireplace...one of my favorite features.
Blue is supposed to one of those colors that soothes you when you wake up. Guess we'll find out...
Pay close attention to the floor here. It used to be dark pink carpet. Hmm...I think I need a picture that shows the new floor better.

very sad that i won't be seeing you this weekend to help move in but we've an already planned soccer thingy. love the house btw, and blue is a soothing color, but with my bad rising out of bed habits i might have painted the bedroom a nice florescnet yellow.
Fluorescent yellow? To drive you out of the room as quickly as possible?? Yeah...it would have that effect on me, too. Of course, I'd probably just pull the blankets over my head so I didn't have to see it and reach my arm to keep hitting snooze.
I will be there on Wed. to help get your kitchen organized per our plan. Your new house is beautiful. Maybe we can tackle the brass fireplace insert too. Can't wait to see my sweet Kathryn.
very pretty. my bathroom in the basement is going to be tiffany blue.
That'll be pretty. Especially in the basement. Will there be windows?
negatory. the bathroom is on the back wall (below deck) so there are no windows back there. instead, all of the fixtures will be white, with bright tiffany blue walls and some shiny white wainscoting or beadboard, and a lovely heated slate floor.
